Students come from 45 states and 80 countries, and the ratio of domestic to international students makes it one of the most nationally diverse institutions in the United States. Its programs, which include a variety of undergraduate majors; graduate programs in Business, Education, Engineering, Acupuncture and Nutrition and doctorates in Education, Naturopathic Medicine, and Chiropractic, emphasize an international perspective that reflects the University’s mission and population. UB is classified as Doctoral Intensive, one of two in Connecticut. The campus, located in Connecticut’s largest city, overlooks Long Island Sound and is one hour from New York City. Benefits Overview The Human Resources Department provides a range of employee-related functions, policies and goody administration. All active, full-time sense members and legalistic and professional staff who work at least 30 hours per week are benefits eligible.
