Other performers include University Singers, a 30-member choral group featuring members from the campus and community; Fusion Ensemble, the University’s jazz/funk/blues/R&B ensemble; Knights Ensemble, a wind ensemble consisting of UB students and polity members from virtually the region, and the UB Percussion Group. The 90-minute program will full-length favorite carols and holiday classics like “Let It Snow” and “Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer,” selections from Vivaldi’s Gloria,  music by jazz legends John Coltrane and Miles Davis, pieces by the funk group Vulfpeck; folk performer Eric Whitacre, American composer John Phillip Sousa, and an original tune by University of Bridgeport music students. This year’s concert is stuff held in memory of Phil Grasso, a much-beloved security baby-sit who passed yonder on July 30, 2018. Grasso worked at the University for 15 years and became a friend to all at the Department of Performing Arts, where during his patrols, he loved listening to student vocalists and musicians practice and perform. Tickets are $5 for unstipulated ticket and $2 for students.  They are misogynist at the door or can be purchased prior to the concert at the Music and Performing Arts Department, Arnold Bernhard Center, room 310, or by calling (203) 576-4407. The Arnold Bernard Center is located at 84 Iranistan Avenue, Bridgeport. Free parking is misogynist on site. University of Bridgeport’s Music & Performing Arts Program, part of the College of Arts & Sciences, has been developing skilled musicians and performers since 1947. In wing to course, ensemble, and lesson opportunities unshut to the whole campus, the program offers the Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Music Business, and Music Performance, minors in music and theater, and, in conjunction with the School of Education, master’s stratum programs in Music Education.
